Hat repairs in Hatters terms are referred to as Hat Renovations. We take your existing, well-worn hat and make it just like new. See our gallery page for some amazing renovations. Start with a simple surface cleaning and reshaping or go with a complete renovation.

*Each hat renovation is done by hand and depending on the work required, may take time. Please allow 3 - 4 months for the renovation of your hat, after your order arrives and is confirmed by Hat Doctor. This does not include shipping time, which can add 2 - 3 weeks or more to the arrival time.

WE SHIP ONLY BY POSTAL SERVICE. CANADIAN AND INTERNATIONAL POSTAL CHARGES will be added on final billing.

We welcome hats from around the world for renovations and ask that you always contact us first by email or phone prior to sending.

WHEN YOU SEND YOUR HATS TO CANADA FOR RENOVATIONS:

SEND BY POSTAL SERVICE ONLY.

DO NOT SHIP BY COURIER or you will be charged ADDITIONAL INTERNATIONAL BROKERAGE FEES AND CHARGES.

WHEN YOU MAIL YOUR HATS TO CANADA:

You must fill out the Customs section of the postal form correctly.

You may be charged Canadian duty and taxes by Canada Customs.

These charges will be added to your total Hat Doctor repair bill.

WHEN COMPLETING THE CUSTOMS SECTION OF THE POSTAL FORM, STATE THE FOLLOWING:

With these codes on the customs shipping form, you may not be charged duty or gst by Canada Customs, though it is at their discretion when processing the package.
